Years of being an art enthusiast wasn't enough, long hours spent in galleries sipping wine and starring at images had struck something in me. The unending questions began, but the only obvious thing was the emotions the art pieces begat in me, even that was a little obscure. Was it the intoxication from the alcohol or was something so visually compelling invoking something so strange in me? Years earlier, I had identified anger as a strong emotion, and the persona that had the ability to invoke such emotions even stronger. Now art had opened a new dimension to my findings, a new adventure to be explored, to some this might be a social experiment of sort, but philosophically isn't this the essence of living? Trying out new things without knowing where it would lead you, navigating with only hope and conviction that whatever may become of it, a lessen will be learnt.
Art Trader XIV is a brainchild of curiosity, hopefully it wont be the end of me and even if so, maybe in the process I may touch a few lives along the way, inspire a few, or even stir up a good old controversy. However this venture may reach you, I implore you to engage, safely, and maybe we can explore the creative hive-mind together in the hopes of attaining a new revelation.
This venture has been relatively easy propagate, that is, relative to other ventures I have undertaken in the course of my life, however its meaning has far larger implications. Call it an endeavour backed by years of experience, a small drop aspiring to create ripples in an ocean, after all to dream one must first be put to sleep. Alas, it is not all seriousness and uptightness, as we strive to infuse a bit of quirk and whimsy in our delivery, maybe that was the criteria for the curation of our artist, hiding core issues behind the playful and eccentric.
I implore you to join me on this experience, as we touch on creativity, its essence, and its dark sides, and the promise to you is to be as open and expressive as humanly possible. The experience doesn't stop at a successful transaction, and the motive is that this experience outlives us all, and maybe by some streak of fate, maybe even transcendental. However it meets you enjoy at a carefully orchestrated price tag.
